Alice Milliner Addison, 96, of Colquitt, Georgia passed away December 13, 2024.      Mrs. Addison was born October 15, 1928, in Colquitt, GA, daughter of the late Christine and Jimmie Milliner. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lamar Addison, as well as two brothers and a sister.

“Miss Alice”, as she was affectionately called, was a longtime member of Cook’s Union United Methodist Church where she sang in the choir, taught Sunday School for many years and faithfully served on several committees. She loved the Lord—loved serving the Lord, and her life was a testimony to her family and everyone who knew her. She felt her calling and purpose was in serving and caring for people. But most of all, she loved her children and grandchildren dearly. She committed her life to them and has left an amazing legacy.

Left to cherish her loving memory are her children, Patricia Graham (Ray) of Wauchula, FL, Tony Addison (Karen) of Mexico Beach, FL, Terry Addison (Pam) of Albany, GA, Dale Carson of Panama City, FL, Diane Durden (Marty) of Ellerslie, GA; grandchildren, Bill Graham (Tami), Kim McGuckin (Andrew), Suzanne See (Brian), Marcus Bailey (Erin), Mandy Pavlus (Brian), Chip Durden, Michael Addison, April Keene, Amy Wilson (Ronnie), Allie McCall, Chris Carson, Tyler Durden (Emily); twenty-one great-grandchildren, twelve great-great-grandchildren. She also leaves behind several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks donations be made to Lee County Health and Rehabilitation in Leesburg.
