Annie Weaver

     Mrs. Annie Weaver of Blakely, formerly of Colquitt, died Monday, July 29, 2024 at Early Memorial Nursing Home. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 31, 2024 at 2:30 PM at Sheffield Funeral Chapel with Rev. Hubert Smith officiating. Interment to follow at the Colquitt City Cemetery with Clayton Cox, Matthew Cox, Garyn King, Doug Young, James Gowan and Jason Henderson serving as active pallbearers. Visitation will be Wednesday, July 31, 2024 from 1:30 to 2:30 PM at Colquitt Funeral Home.

     Mrs. Weaver was a retired supervisor after 30 years of the Dietary Department at Miller County Hospital and was a member of Thompson Free Will Baptist Church.

     She is survived by one son, Floyd (Helen) Gowan of Bainbridge; one daughter, Cornelia (Rex) Henderson of Blakely; four grandchildren, Teresa (Stacey) Cox, Sherry (Doug) Young, James Gowan and Jason (Tiffany) Henderson; six-great grandchildren, Clayton Cox, Matthew Cox, Garyn King, Caitlin Henderson, Carmen Batchelor, Conner Batchelor and Andrew Cox, who is in heaven, arms open wide to meet Grandma; one brother, Robert Meredith of Bainbridge; and two sisters, Edna McCann of Sylvester and Mary Helen Tilley of Albany.
