     Mrs. Betty Lou Jackson of Colquitt, GA died on Monday, April 1, 2024, at her daughter's residence. A graveside funeral service will be held Thursday, April 4, 2024, at 11:00 AM, at Union Baptist Church Cemetery, with Rev. Cory Thomas officiating. 
     Mrs. Jackson was a homemaker, and a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church.
     She is survived by one son, Rodney Jackson of Colquitt, GA; four daughters, Rita Gardner of Colquitt, GA, Wanda Griffin of Colquitt, GA, Judy Cook of Donalsonville, GA; and Peggy Rice of Donalsonville, GA; ten grandchildren, Stacey Glass of Donalsonville, GA, Jason (Brandi) Byrd of Bainbridge, GA, Wendi (Brian) Donley of Colquitt, GA, Matthew Griffin of Colquitt, GA, Holly Taylor of Sarasota, FL, Heather (Kevin) Carr of Newton, GA, Hope (Jordan) Ganas of Waycross, GA, Mandy Hodges of Donalsonville, GA, Jacob (Brittany) Jackson of Colquitt, GA, and Morgan (Phillip Wilbourn) Jackson of Cairo, GA; fourteen great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Mrs. Jackson was preceded in death by three sons-in-law, James Byrd, Steve Griffin, and Phil Cook; one grandson-in-law, Trent Taylor; her husband, J.D. Jackson; all of her siblings; and parents, Charles and Mattie Lou Roberts.
