Brenda Kay Amerson

     Mrs. Brenda Kay Amerson of Colquitt, GA died Friday, August 25, 2023, at Miller County Hospital. Funeral services will be held Monday, August 28, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Sheffield Funeral Chapel, with Rev. Jimmy Love officiating. Interment to follow at Eternal Rest Memorial Gardens with Brett Gerber, Brant Alexander, Marty Phillips, Cole Vann, Landon Holmes, and Logan Gowan serving as active pallbearers. Visitation will be Monday, August 28, 2023 from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at Colquitt Funeral Home.

     Mrs. Amerson was a loan officer at First Franklin Financial in Colquitt, GA and of the Baptist faith.

     She is survived by her husband, Vance Amerson of Colquitt, GA; one son, Dayton (Cecily) Amerson of Colquitt,GA; three daughters, Kaylyn (Nick) Rawlings of Colquitt, GA, Christina Green of Blakely, GA, and Payton Amerson of Colquitt, GA; four grandchildren, Kylie Brackin, Shanley Burnett, Sadie Rawlings, and Ryder Bruce; three brothers, Walter McDonald, Randy McDonald and Tracy McDonald all of Blakely, GA; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Katie Love McDonald.
