Charles Lloyd Lane

     Mr. Charles Lloyd Lane of Colquitt, GA died Monday, October 30, 2023, at Seminole Manor. Mr. Lane will be cremated. A memorial service will be held Monday, November 6, 2023, at 2:00 PM at Sheffield Funeral Chapel. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at Colquitt Funeral Home.

     Mr. Lane was formerly self-employed in construction.

     He is survived by his wife, Irelle Lane of Colquitt, GA; three sons, Kenny Lane of Albany, GA, DeWayne McDonald of Colquitt, GA, and Gerald (Kathy) McDonald of Jackson, GA; numerous grandchildren; one brother, Donnell Lane of Geneva, AL; one sister, Linda Rice of Colquitt, GA; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lloyd and Myrtle Powell Lane; one sister, Nancy Lane Waddell; and one brother David Lane.
