David Jerald "Jerry" Mock, Sr.

     Mr. David Jerald "Jerry" Mock, Sr. of Colquitt, GA died on Monday, November 13, 2023, at Southeast Health in Dothan, AL. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, November 15, 2023, at 11:00 AM at Flat Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Cory Thomas officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery with Charles Brackin, Mike Boyd, James Burch, Kevin Hall, Bruce Taylor, and David Bell serving as active pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Ronnie Shiver, Toby Spence, David Shattles, Emmett Mock, Casey Moulton, and Pat Griffin. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at Flat Creek Baptist Church.

     Mr. Mock was formerly a lathe operator with Georgia-Pacific. He was a member of Flat Creek Baptist Church, where he served as a deacon.

     He is survived by his wife, Trellis Mock of Colquitt, GA; two sons, Jerald (Stephanie) Mock, and Jarrott (Mandi) Mock, both of Colquitt, GA; one daughter, Maria Mock of Bainbridge, GA; eight grandchildren, Allison Johnson, Ansley (Casey) Moulton, Ashton (Pat) Griffin, Taylor Mock, David Jerald "Bo" (Connor) Mock III, Tanner Mock, Anna Claire Mock, and Piper Mock; six great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
