Evelyn was born November 15, 1941, in Colquitt, GA, to G.S. & Margaret Pickle. She was a lifelong resident of Miller County until her transition to Bainbridge, GA in 2020. She loved the Lord and made that evident through her loyal and faithful membership to First Baptist Church, Colquitt. The friendships she created through the TEL Sunday school class were so very dear to her heart, and she spoke often of them.

By trade a bookkeeper, but she most enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and more recently her great-grandchildren. She instilled many lessons into her granddaughters, but a deep love for baking remains the most special. The time spent in her kitchen was sacred and treasured, and not a Swedish ball will be baked without reminiscing and cherishing the memories with her.

Her greatest joy came from giving, and you never paid for a meal if you enjoyed it with her. She loved her family more than words could express and what a legacy she leaves behind. She will be deeply missed by her children and grandchildren.

She is survived by one son, Jeff (Amy) Adkinson of Colquitt; two step-sons, Greg (Rachel) Davis of Bainbridge and Kevin Davis of Albany; one daughter, Stacy (Tony) Warren of Bainbridge; two grandchildren, Kaitlyn (Nick) Lawrence of Arlington and Morgan (Hunter) Bulger of Attapulgus; four great-grandchildren, Adley Lawrence, Beau Lawrence, Evie Bulger, and Canaan Bulger; two step-grandsons, Zeke Davis and Owen Davis; two brothers, Jerry Pickle and Charles (Pam) Pickle, both of Colquitt; one sister Dorothy Mlodzikowski of Thomasville; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks donations be made to Colquitt First Baptist Church.
