Gerald Jenkins

Mr Gerald Jenkins of Colquitt died Thursday, December 5, 2024 at the Malcom Randall Veterans Affairs Medical Center.in Gainesville, FL. 

Funeral services will be Sunday, December 8, 2024 at 3:00 PM at Thompson Free Will Baptist Church with Rev. Bobby Whittaker and Rev Chad Cooper officiating. Interment to follow with Military Honors at the Colquitt City Cemetery  with Seth Jenkins, Sully Jenkins, Shepard Jenkins, Cooper Jenkins, Adam Phillips and John Bryan serving as active pallbearers.  There will be no visitation. 

Mr Jenkins was the the owner of Jenkins Mechanical in Colquitt, a member of the American Legion, the VFW and was a Vietnam Veteran serving in the U S Marines. He was also a member of Thompson Free Will Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Gloria Jenkins of Colquitt, two sons, Kirk (Joanna ) Jenkins and Alan (Kristi) Jenkins both of Colquitt. Nine grandchildren, Seth Jenkins, Shelby Jenkins, Sarah (John) Bryan, Sully Jenkins, Selena Jenkins, Shepherd Jenkins, Salli Jenkins, Sybil Jenkins and Cooper Jenkins. He was preceded in death by his parents, Dillard and Hilda Tully Jenkins and one brother Dillard Jenkins Jr.
