H. E. "Bo" Everson

November 7, 1931 — March 29, 2024

     Mr. H.E. "Bo" Everson, 92, of Colquitt died after a lengthy illness, Friday, March 29, 2024, at his residence. Funeral services will be Monday, April 1, 2024, at 3:00 PM at Colquitt First Baptist Church with Dr. Craig Hartzog, Rev. Mark Worsley, Rev. Kent Barwick, Jimmy Ray Kelly, and Billy Kimbrel officiating. Pall bearers will be David Powell, Wayne Womble, Wayne Goocher, Billy Kimbrel, Danny Sheffield, Wesley Pantone, Terry Dees, Alan Clanton, and Cody Powell - members of the Hasan Shrine. Visitation will be Monday, April 1, 2024, from 1:00-3:00 PM at Colquitt First Baptist Church. Mr. Bo will be at the Church ready for viewing at 12:00 PM for those not able to attend the visitation.

  Mr. Bo was a member of Colquitt First Baptist Church and was owner of Everson Plumbing & Electric for 40 years. He was a member of the Walter C. Dancer Lodge #115, the Albany Hasan Temple and the Jesters.

  He is survived by two sons, Wade (Joanna) Everson and Tony (Lynn) Everson both of Colquitt, GA; one daughter, Angel Everson (Wendell) Mathis of Colquitt, GA; six grandchildren, Brandi (Matt) Woods, Morgan Nicole Everson, Baylee Lynn Everson, Kaley Elizabeth (Chris) Moates, Shane Kyle Mathis, and Phoebe Shea (Jason) Christian; six great grandchildren, Myron Chad Woods, Rayleigh Klayre Moates, Ellie Margaret Christian, Eden Mathis Christian, Halle Shea Mathis, and Jack Braedyn Mathis; one sister, Eleanor Wood of Lake City, FL; and numerous extended family members and friends. Mr. Bo was preceded in death by his wife and mother of his children, Cleista Winget Everson; one son, Randy Scott Everson; one grandchild, Chad Scott Everson; second wife, Shelby Jean Everson; fiancee of 27 years, Frances Middleton Kelly; his parents, Burton B. & Letha (Hobby) Everson; six brothers, Oreon Everson, Murray Lee Everson, A.J. Everson, Ruel Everson, Morris Everson, and Hubert "Frog" Everson and two sisters, Doris Nesbitt and Ann Taylor.
