James Ralph Olds

     Mr. James Ralph Olds of Blakely, GA died on Wednesday, March 15, 2023, at his residence. Funeral services will be held Sunday, March 19, 2023, at 3:00 PM at Sheffield Funeral Chapel with Rev. Michael Warren officiating. Interment will follow at Colquitt City Cemetery with Greg Cox, Jim Merritt, David Williamson, Emmett Mock, Roy Jordan, and Steven Anderson serving as active pallbearers. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at Colquitt Funeral Home.

     Mr. Olds worked for Georgia Pacific, and was a member of New Hope Baptist Church.

       He is survived by one son, Rick (Meredith) Olds of Watkinsville, GA; one daughter, Pamela Olds of Blakely, GA; two grandchildren, Patrick Olds and Samantha Olds; and one sister, Judy Sparks of Columbus, Ga.  Mr. Olds was preceded in death by his wife, Doris Williamson Olds; parents, Foy and Oretha Olds; and his brothers.
