Jerrie Cook

    Mrs. Jerrie Cook of Colquitt died Friday, December 23, 2022, at Southeast Health in Dothan. Funeral services will be Thursday, December 29, 2022, at 2:00 PM at Eldorendo Baptist Church. Interment will follow in the church cemetery with Phillip Moore, Lee Brock, Levi Gay, Casey Brock, Phillip Cook, and Austin Stewart serving as active pall bearers. Honorary pall bearers will be Nick Chapman, Otis Brock, and Todd Cook. Visitation will be at the churchfrom 1:00-2:00 PM, Thursday, December 29, 2022.

     Mrs. Cook was a homemaker and a member of Eldorendo Baptist Church.

     She is survived by two daughters, Mellisa "Lisa" (Otis) Brock of Bainbridge, GA, and Karen (Luke) Cook of Colquitt, GA; six grandchildren, Phillip Cook, Todd (Macey Givens) Cook, Stephanie (Levi) Gay, Lee (Ashley) Brock, Casey (Kristin) Brock, and Megan (Austin) Stewart; five great grandchildren, Kayden Cook, Liam Gay, Sawyer Gay, Adaline Brock, and Alivia Brock; a large number of nieces and nephews; and her caregiver, Angie Morgan. Mrs. Cook was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald Cook; one daughter, Dawn Pickren; one son, Mark Lee Adams; one sister, Jean George; and her parents, D.C. and Callie Mae Braswell Maddox.
