Mr. Jimmy Lloyd Carr of Colquitt, GA died Monday, January 9, 2023, at Flowers Hospital. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, January 11, at 2:00 PM, at First Baptist Church of Colquitt. Interment will follow at George Cemetery with Maddox Lee, Brantley Roland, Ethan Foster, Brooks Garland, Joe Sheffield, and Hugh Franklin serving as active pallbearers. Visitation will be held Wednesday, January 11, 2023, from 1:00 to 2:00 PM at First Baptist Church of Colquitt.

Mr. Carr worked as an agent for Georgia Farm Bureau, and was a member of First Baptist Church of Colquitt.

He is survived by his wife, Suzan George Carr; three daughters, Laura (Daniel) Caraway of Clayton, AL, Ansley Bracewell of Colquitt, GA, and Jenna (Deon) Foster of Colquitt, GA; eight grandchildren, Maddox Lee, Dillon Caraway, Dalton Caraway, Brantley Roland, Emma Grace Caraway, Emma Jean Foster, Ethan Foster, and Ellaree Foster; and one sister, Faye Duke of Newton, GA. Mr. Carr was preceded in death by one sister, Judy McPherson; and his parents, George and Mildred Peace Carr. Flowers will be accepted, as well as donations to the First Baptist Church or Colquitt.
