Lynda Lane

Miss Lynda Lane of Colquitt died Friday, September 8, 2023 at her residence. Graveside funeral services will be held Sunday, September 10, 2023 at 3:00 PM at New Home Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Benjamin Miller and Rev. Marty Henley officiating. No Visitation will be held.

Miss Lynda retired after 35 years with  Seminole County DFACS, she was a member of New Home Free Will Baptist Church where she was a Sunday School teacher for many years. Miss Lynda loved all of her nieces and nephews like they were her own.

She is survived by four brothers, Kenneth (June) Lane of Colquitt, Phil (Lynne) Lane of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Ronnie Joe (Harriet) Lane of Colquitt and Mike (Lisa) Lane of Headland, AL. Three sisters, Joan Kirkland of Colquitt, Gail (Harry Jay) Altman of Thomasville and Penny Lane of Colquitt. Numerous nieces and nephews and special friends Kathy (Carl) Scott. She was preceded in death by her parents Lawrence and Mildred Roberts Lane and one brother Lamar Lane.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks donations be made to New Home Cemetery Fund at PO Box 565, Donalsonville, GA 39845.
