Ms. Lynda Roland of Bainbridge, GA died Monday, June 5, 2023, at her residence. Funeral services will be held Thursday, June 8, 2023, at 11:00 AM at Sheffield Funeral Chapel with Rev. Jerry Bishop officiating. Interment will follow at New Salem Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery with Heath Worsley, Adam Worsley, Tyler Shamblin, Gavin Womack, Chuck Strickland, and Jay Worsley serving as active pallbearers. Visitation will be held Thursday, June 8, 2023, from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at Colquitt Funeral Home.Ms. Roland formerly worked for Donalsonville Hospital as an Admissions Clerk and was also the owner of Country Creations. She was a member of New Salem Free Will Baptist Church.She is survived by one son, Chris (Amanda) Roland of Iron City, GA; two daughters, Rhonda (Brad) Cross of Donalsonville, GA, and Stacey (Dennis) Gale of Jakin, GA; five grandchildren, Mindy (Chuck) Strickland, Kasey (Clay) Smith, Tyler (Mackenzie) Shamblin, Micaelah (Marcus) King, and Amber Roland; four great-grandchildren, Charlie Smith, Noah Strickland, Lauren Smith, and Karmyn Strickland; one brother, Jack Worsley of Bainbridge, GA; one sister, Mary Frances Kelley of Manchester, GA; and two sisters-in-law, Teresa Worsley of Warm Springs, GA, and Carolyn Worsley of Colquitt, GA. Ms. Roland was preceded in death by two brothers, Don and J.E. Worsley; three sisters, Annie Ruth Worsley, Penny Worsley, and Peggy Whitaker; and her parents, John E and Myrtle Shepard Worsley.
