Ronald Williams

     Mr. Ronald Williams of Colquitt, GA died on Saturday, March 11, 2023, at Early Memorial Nursing Home. Funeral services will be held Monday, March 13, 2023,  at 3:00 PM, at Sheffield Funeral Chapel with Rev. David Mason officiating. Interment will follow at Cooks Union Cemetery with Michael McKnight, Michael Middleton, Luke Cook, Chance Cook, Buddy Moore, and Chris Williams serving as active pallbearers. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at Colquitt Funeral Home.

     Mr. Williams was a member of member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church, and worked as a truck driver for Southern Ag.

     He is survived by his wife, Debra Newsome Williams of Colquitt, GA; three sons, Stacy (Kim) Williams of Temple, GA, Jason Williams of Dallas, GA, and Ashley (Hollee) Pope of Ball Ground, GA; two daughters, Julie (Stan) Thiel of Dallas, GA, and Vanessa (Todd) Trawick of Tuskegee, AL; fourteen grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two sisters, Brenda Bush of Albany, GA, and Tammy O'Bryan of Douglasville, GA; one brother, Stanley Williams of Colquitt, GA; and a number of nieces and nephews. Mr. Williams was preceded in death by his parents, Ras and Vera Poppell Williams.
