Rita Mock

Mrs Rita Mock of Colquitt died Friday, August 2, 2024 at Early Memorial Hospital. Funeral service will be Tuesday, August 6, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Flat Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Cory Thomas officiating.  Interment will be at Primitive Union Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 10 to 11 AM Tuesday, August 6, 2024 at Flat Creek Baptist Church.

Rita was a retired Beautician co-owner of Janets Comb and Ritas Brush in Colquitt and a member of Flat Creek Baptist Church.

She is survived by one son, Shane Mathis of Colquitt  one daughter, Phoebe (Jason) Christian of Trussville, Al. Four Grandchildren, Halle Mathis, Jack Mathis, Ellie Christian and Eden Christian. Her father, B O Mock of Colquitt, one sister Janet Hicks of Colquitt. one brother, Bud (Jo) Mock of Colquitt and her special friend Marion Cobb of Colquitt.  She was preceded in death by her mother Cleo Middleton Mock and her niece, Lesley Mock.
