Ronald Walton Everson

     Ronald Walton Everson of Colquitt, GA died on Monday, October 16, 2023, at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be held Thursday, October 19, 2023, at 11:00 AM, at Colquitt Free Will Baptist Church with Rev. Kent Barwick and Rev. Larry Powell officiating. Interment will follow at Thompson Cemetery with Mike Middleton, Michael Middleton, Trav Pickle, Tracy Pickle, Herman Pickle, and Duren Williams serving as active pallbearers. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at Colquitt Free Will Baptist Church.

     Mr. Everson retired from GA Pacific as a Supervisor, and was a  member of Colquitt Free Will Baptist Church.

     He is survived by his wife, Gail Powell Everson of Colquitt, GA; one son, Ronald Blaine (Denise) Everson of Athens, GA; three grandchildren, Madison Stegall, Eliza Everson, and Chase (Leah) Widner; ; three great-grandchildren, Brailyn Cross, Sawyer Rawlings, and Weston Rawlings; and one brother, Doug (Sylvia) George of Colquitt, GA. He was preceded in death by one daughter, Amy Everson; and parents, John and Hazel Pickle Everson.
