Russell Louis Nash

Mr Russell Nash (83) of Colquitt died Tuesday, December 20, 2022 at his residence.  A Memorial Serevice will be held Wednesday, December 28, 2022 at 2:00 PM at Colquitt United Methodist Church with Rev. Jean Watson and Rev. Chris Shoemaker officiating. Visitstion will be Wednesday, December 28, 2022 from 1 to 2 P:M at Colquitt United Methodist Church. Honary Pallbearers will be Billy Torode, Justin Strickland, Kenny Kelley, Ray Lovering, Walter Snodgrass, Emory Deen, Steve Singletary and Bubba Jones.

     Mr Nash was a Detention Officer with the Miller County Sheriff Department and a member of Colquitt United Methodist Church.

     He is survived by his wife, Rebecca "Becky" Nash of Colquitt, two sons, Robert C Nash of Denver, Colorado, Rusty (Jennifer) Nash of Leesburg, Georgia and one daughter, Julia (Jeff) Carpenter of Ashland, Alabama. Five grandchildren, Jameson Carpenter, Jared Carpenter, Jolie Carpenter, Taylor Nash and Dakota Nash, two great grandchildren, Kohen Carpenter and Axton Carpenter. two brothers, George Wall Nash of Lineville, Alabama, Roscoe (Charlotte) Nash of Blakely, Georgia and one sister, Martha Lee Sparks of Wausa, Wisconsin. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lewis and Ethel Roney Nash and one brother, Richard Nash.
