Stanley "Stan" Haire

     Mr. Stanley "Stan" Haire, age 72, of Colquitt, GA, passed away on January 15, 2025, at Southeast Health. Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 18, 2025, at 11:00 AM at the Colquitt First Baptist Church in Colquitt, Georgia. A private family interment will follow at Gordon Cemetery. Active pallbearers are his nephews, Bodie Fitzgerald, Jeff Fitzgerald, Brock Middleton, Keith Middleton, Dakota Middleton, Edwin Atkinson, and Stephen Atkinson. Honorary pallbearers are Toby Fitzgerald and Slade Atkinson. Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 18, 2025, from 10:00 to 11:00 AM, at Colquitt First Baptist Church. 

     Stanley Haire retired from CGM Construction Group, LLC after 30 years. He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Dianne Haire, of Colquitt, GA; one son, Clay Haire and his wife, Rachel Haire of Smyrna, Ga; one daughter, Haley Haire of Colquitt, GA; one granddaughter, Ameila Grace Haire; two sisters, Sandra Fitzgerald and her husband, Terry "Red" Fitzgerald, who referred to Stan as "Haire boy", of Paris, TX, and Joyce Fitzgerald of Sumner, GA; two sisters-in-law, Donna Singleton of Colquitt, GA, and Penny Massey and her husband Joe Massey of Colquitt, GA; one brother-in-law, Carroll and his wife Jan Middleton of Colquitt, GA; and numerous nieces nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Horace Haire; his mother, Lugene Cox Haire; his mother-in-law, Helen Griffin; and father-in-law, Glover (Roach) Middleton. 

     In lieu of flowers, the family asks donations be made to the Colquitt First Baptist Chapel Renovation fund, 351 East Pine Street, Colquitt, GA 39837.
