Vonnie Dean Lovering

     Mrs. Vonnie Dean Lovering of Colquitt, GA died on Monday, October 28, 2024, at her residence. Funeral services will be held Friday, November 1, 2024, at 11:00 AM, at Colquitt First Baptist Church with Rev. Craig Hartzog and Rev. Mark Worsley officiating. Interment will follow at Harmony Cemetery with Randy Lee, Shawn Simpson, Eric Varnadoe, Kevin Lovering, Nolan Lovering, and Cooper Jenkins serving as active pallbearers. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at Colquitt First Baptist Church. 

     Mrs. Lovering was a member of Colquitt First Baptist Church, where she formerly served as the church secretary, and was a member of their 60s and up Sunday School Class. 

     She is survived by three daughters, Kristi (Alan) Jenkins of Colquitt, Kelly (Tim) Ray of Bainbridge, Jackie (Wesley) Whitaker of Bainbridge, two sons, David (Mel) Lovering of Bainbridge, Les (Cindy) Lovering of Colquitt,  fourteen grandchildren, Seth Jenkins, Shelby Jenkins, Sarah (John) Bryan, Sully Jenkins, Selena Jenkins, Shepherd Jenkins, Salli Jenkins, Sybil Jenkins, Zachary Lovering, Nolan Lovering, Adalynn Lovering, Josh Whitaker, Megan Whitaker, and Zac Whitaker; six great-grandchildren; two brothers, Bobby (Laverne) Hunt of Grey, GA and Ted (Kathy) Hunt of Phoenix, AZ; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Glen Lovering; two brothers, Junior Hunt and Jerry Hunt; one sister, Bonnie Lee; and parents; Buddy and Evie Brannon Hunt.

     In lieu of flowers, the family asks donations be made to the Colquitt First Baptist Church's Chapel Fund.
