Wayne Weeks

     Mr. Wayne Weeks of Colquitt, GA died on Thursday, December 28, 2023, at Calhoun Nursing Home. Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 30, 2023, at 2:00 PM at Sheffield Funeral Chapel with Cleve Weeks and Brother Jonathan Prickett officiating. Interment will follow at Gordon Cemetery with Cleve Weeks, Nathan Weeks, Daniel Mock, Cory Weeks, Justin Cleveland and Duane Stoker serving as active pallbearers. Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 30, 2023, from 1:00 to 2:00 PM at Colquitt Funeral Home.

     Mr. Weeks served in the Air Force, and formerly worked as a welder.

     He is survived by two sons, Wendell (Jackie) Weeks of Baconton, GA, and Stephen (Donna) Weeks of Colquitt, GA; four grandchildren, Corey (Jessica) Weeks, Stacy (Daniel) Mock, Cleve (Jackie) Weeks, and Nathan (Alayna) Weeks; and six great-grandchildren, Levi Mock, Waydon Mock, Elliott Weeks, Zeke Weeks, Eli Weeks, and Emersyn Weeks. He was preceded in death by his wife, Hilda Widner Weeks; one brother,two sisters and parents, Frank and Elizabeth Watson Weeks.

     In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Gordon Cemetery fund, through Ameris Bank.
