Mrs. Wilma was born as part of the greatest generation on October 11, 1926 in Benton County, Missouri. Being the middle daughter of William Allie (Hoot) Thomas and Grace Downing Thomas she developed early on her immense talents for listening and getting along with others. Mrs. Wilma married the love of her life, Charley Jackson Fleet on December 31, 1948. She not only served in countless capacities in her church, Colquitt First Baptist Church where she was a member for 55 years but she shared her love and faith through her famous cards, phone calls and visits to people in her community. Her genteel nature and always positive attitude made her many special friends throughout her years. She served on limitless school and community committees through her years in Colquitt. Also serving as a poll worker for every county election for 38 years.
